The agreement was centered on creating artificial intelligence solutions to address the demands of the market today.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed in September 2023, was supposed to be a 15-year commitment between the corporation and Infosys. This occurs barely two weeks after CFO Nilanjan Roy abruptly left.

“In their exchange filings, Infosys stated that this is a follow-up to the disclosure made by Infosys vide letter dated September 14, 2023, titled “corporation update” regarding a Memorandum of Understanding with a global company that was contingent upon parties entering into a Master Agreement.”

The business also stated, “The global company has now elected to terminate the Memorandum of Understanding and the parties will not be pursuing the Master Agreement.”

The worldwide corporation and Infosys will collaborate “to provide enhanced digital experiences, along with modernization and business operations services, leveraging Infosys platforms & AI solutions,” according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked on September 14 of this year.

The company’s share prices were significantly impacted by Infosys Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Nilanjan Roy’s resignation. On December 12, Roy announced his resignation from the organization, stating that he was leaving to follow “personal aspirations.”

In an official announcement, Infosys stated that March 31, 2024, will be his last day of employment as CFO. Following that, Jayesh Sanghrajka, who is now Infosys’ executive vice president and deputy CFO, will take over for Roy.

Salil Parekh, our CEO, stated, “As deputy CFO, he (Sanghrajka) has been leading multiple portfolios in the finance function for several years now and his depth of experience and knowledge will serve us well to take the function to greater heights.”
