Wipro has announced the launch of the ai360 service, as well as a commitment to invest around $1 billion in artificial intelligence over the next three years. Wipro hopes to usher in a new era of ‘productivity and commercial potential’ by deploying generative AI.

  • To achieve the AI-related goals, the organization will teach its staff the principles of AI and its applications across many functions.
  • According to the business, Wipro ai360 would bring together 30,000 data analytics and AI experts.
  • Wipro also stated that it will provide future support to innovative companies through its accelerator program, Wipro Ventures.

This investment is projected to usher the organization into a new era of value, productivity, and commercial potential.

Wipro’s CEO and MD Thierry Delaporte commented on the development, saying that AI is moving at a rapid speed and that a fundamental shift may be detected soon owing to the introduction of generative AI.

“This is precisely why Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem prioritizes responsible AI operations in all of our AI work.” It is intended to empower our talent pool and be ubiquitous throughout all of our operations and procedures, as well as our client solutioning. “We are prepared for an AI-powered future,” he explained.

New business models, new methods of working, and new difficulties are all on the horizon. This is why Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem prioritizes safe AI operations in all of our AI projects.

Wipro stated that the $1 billion investment will help enhance the company’s AI, data, and analytics capabilities, as well as build new consulting skills to assist clients in adapting AI and realizing its full value.

The company will launch a GenAI seed Accelerator program to give generative AI-focused entrepreneurs the necessary skills to become ‘enterprise ready’.

Wipro has also announced that over the next 12 months, it will teach around 2,50,000 people on the principles and safe usage of AI. Furthermore, personnel in AI-focused roles will receive customized and ongoing training from the organization.

Wipro’s move comes only a week after Tata Consultancy Services said that it will train 25,000 engineers on generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools and certify them on Microsoft’s Azure Open AI.

Wipro also said that in the future, it will provide support to tech companies through its accelerator program Wipro Ventures, as well as create the GenAI Seed Accelerator program, which will provide market-ready training to entrepreneurs utilizing GenAI.
